Ashley A. Coates, M.B.A.

Ashley:  Before Charlotte was born, my husband and I spent most weekends together rock climbing throughout California.  We had both spent years of our lives choosing outdoor retail and environmental education for work and adventure travel in our free time.  It slowed down a bit when Charlotte was born, but I carried our baby, Charlotte, strapped to me in a lightweight baby carrier on family trips to Joshua Tree National Park and Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite.  We continue to include Charlotte in travel and outdoor adventure.  And, now that Charlotte is school-aged, we are ready to regularly explore the outdoors, and, based on our experience, share through this blog.

I hope our readers will feel inspired and informed to comfortably experience the natural areas around them with their families and teach school children the wonders of natural science and our environment.  In the meantime, enjoy this armchair travel and curriculum blog, we are happy to share.
